What color mood are you in?

The PANTONE® name is known worldwide as the standard language for color communication from designer to manufacturer to retailer to customer. Chicago-based photographer Paul Octavious certainly has a knack for transforming mundane images into clever art projects.

Paul : "I went to college for design, so Pantone swatches played a big part in my development," wrote the artist in an email to The Huffington Post. "I love color and see so much of it when I photograph. I thought this would be a fun way to document my surroundings."

Amy Krouse Rosenthal is, in plain black and white, a person who likes to make things. Perhaps you have read some of her books. She had the idea for this project one day out of the blue.

Jeff Kelley helped Amy build this website " The Pantone Prose and Pictures Project" His favorite color is magenta.
